How do the combined permissions (Forum Admin, Forum Moderator, Power User, Normal User, Limited User) map to the groups? How are these permissions defined? What do they provide??? These combined permissions is a handy way to set permission, it currently defined in MVNForumPermissionImpl.java (please open this file and collect the permissions) ---------------------------------------- Minh Nguyen mvnForum Developer Want a free, open source Java Jsp/Servlet forum, get mvnForum at http://www.mvnForum.com http://www.DienDanLinux.org |

Was this ever documented anywhere? The current docs (RC_4) don't specify what the combined permissions mean--that is, what permissions they combine. It'd be nice not to have to have to mess around in the source to find out. |

We are improving the docs for the next 1.0 GA release, which will discuss more about the the permission in mvnForum ![]() ---------------------------------------- Minh Nguyen mvnForum Developer Want a free, open source Java Jsp/Servlet forum, get mvnForum at http://www.mvnForum.com http://www.DienDanLinux.org |
