To be search-engine-friendly, many forum softwares introduce an url-rewrite feature like this: instead of http://myforum/viewthread?thread=1234 it is better to hv: http://myforum/thread/1234.html or (include the thread subject) http://myforum/thread/use-search-engine-friendly-url#1234.html will mvnforum add this? Thx |

For me also this is a very important feature. Dutch governments are bound to very strict webstandards. Part of this are the guidelines at http://www.webrichtlijnen.nl/english/ . In the future these will probably be (in a lighter form) european guidelines. It's nearly impossible to make a forum which will conformate itself completely to these guidelines. getting a 'score' of 80% and higher is allready quite good. ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by NiQuil at Mar 18, 2008 10:53:05 AM] |
