Problems with new installation and context paths.

Hi,

I just installed MVNForum in a new context on the same server where I have an existing install. The problem is when I try to view the home page of the forum I get a 404.

So for example:

www.mysite.com/test_forum/mvnforum/index

... Gives me a 404.

I went through my Tomcat logs and the only thing I can find is:

Aug 25, 2008 10:49:00 AM org.apache.catalina.startup.ContextConfig applicationWebConfig
INFO: Missing application web.xml, using defaults only StandardEngine[Catalina].StandardHost[mysite.com].StandardContext[/_test_forum]

I've checked and rechecked the various config files .. but no luck.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Please tell me your directory structure, and make sure in the context, there is a folder WEB-INF, and in this folder have the file web.xml

Hi,

My directory structure is as follows:

mysite.com/test_forum/mvnforum/index

I have the web.xml and WEB-INF in place.

Re: Problems with new installation and context paths.

Hello, by directory structure, I mean the directory in the hard disk of your OS. In folder docs in mvnForum package, there is a picture of a correct directory structure to help you.

Hope this helps
